Welcome to this quiet 2br/2ba condo on Cathedral Hill. Your cozy stay includes a main-level bed/bath and a lower-level bed/bath, accessible by a spiral staircase. Enjoy a show on our smart TV w/soundbar & subwoofer while cooking up your meals in our well-equipped kitchen, or coil up with a book and a throw blanket. If you’re so inclined, you might even wish to relax on the patio in the privacy-fenced yard.

Good to know

On the main level, you’ll find one bed and one bath, the living room, and the kitchen. The lower level is accessed via a spiral staircase and features one bed and one bath, a den area, and the laundry. Outside, the porch and patio is in our fenced-in yard. Please note the yard may be shared with tenants of a neighboring Airbnb unit.

Neighborhood

Cathedral Hill overlooks downtown Saint Paul and the Capital. It has a thriving bar and restaurant scene with a number of small, local boutiques, gym, yoga, and a bottle shop to choose from. And with Mississippi Market co-op just a few blocks away, this area is highly walkable and might let you leave your car at home all day.

This Air BNB was perfect for our weekend stay for Minnesota Yacht Club Festival. Very close to downtown and tons to check out. We were able to walk to the festival each day. There is a great group of little local businesses to check out just a block away that we enjoyed coffee and food at a couple mornings. The AirBnB was very easy to find and was exactly as described. It was very comfortable and perfect size for the 3 of us. John was very easy to communicate with and we had a great experience. Would highly recommend using this AirBnB!

John's place has everything you will need and is in a perfect location in St Paul. Public transportation is literally across the steet and the area has many good restaurants and places to have a drink withing a few minute walk. Summit ave is also very close and a nice walk if you are interested in equisite historic victorian mansions. My family and I would definitely stay here again, without question.

We had an excellent stay at the McAllen house. We’re a family of four with two kids and were visiting for a sporting event. The home was very comfortable and well-equipped for our needs. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed, including pots, pans, a coffee maker, and a toaster. There were plenty of towels, hangers, and other essentials that made our stay even more convenient. Our kids loved going up and down the spiral staircase, and we especially enjoyed the cozy reading nook downstairs — perfect for unwinding with a book or a cup of coffee. The host, John, was very responsive and helpful. He came over right away to assist with a small request, which we really appreciated. The house is also in a great location - within walking distance to a local coffee shop, a few restaurants, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Quiet and clean spot in St. Paul. Coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance around the corner. The perfect clean and cool apartment for a wedding weekend during a record heat wave in Minneapolis. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here! This was a very comfortable apartment for two of us and it’s spacious enough to be comfortable for more guests too. I especially appreciated the full working kitchen, high efficiency laundry facilities, and great temperature controls, lots of very soft throw blankets, and ample WiFi. We both worked from the apartment and sometimes both had Zoom meetings at once, and there was never an issue. We hope to be back! This place is a keeper.

John's place is a great find in one of my all-time favorite neighborhoods — it's clean, quiet, and comfortable, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I'm sad that my stay was short, but look forward to booking again for a longer visit!

John’s place was very nice and very clean. He responded well when I couldn’t find the pack n’ play for my 7 month old. I felt peaceful and safe while me and my two kids slept. Would definitely come again.

Find us

The neighborhood is very walkable. Getting to our property couldn't be more convenient - we are right on the rte. 21 bus line and we are less than 5 minutes from the intersection of I-94 and Dale St. Parking in the evening can be tight, but we do provide one off-street parking space in our shared driveway. Please do be careful to leave room for our neighbor to get in and out!
